Over 800,000 MX-5 cars sold since 1989 indicates that Mazda has got the formula right.
Now in the third generation, the car continues to draw a band of devoted enthusiasts,
and a very high proportion of owners belong to clubs.
In only 18 months, I've been on navigation runs, had lots of meals with new friends,
driven on a couple of racetracks, and had a big grin on my face the whole time!

This is our first Mazda, and our first real convertible, and now we're keen fans of the MX-5 experience.
For 33 years I rode motorcycles, and suffered the consequences. I wish I'd discovered this great alternative sooner!

This photo was taken near a gate to the Toowoomba Japanese gardens - one of my favourite spots in town.
Having lived and studied in Japan, I have a real appreciation for the design of this garden, which has echoes of some
of the better known Japanese gardens.

We bought this car in September of 2005, one of only 250 available in Australia, and 3,500 world wide.
It's only had a couple of modifications, but looks fairly different to the original car below...
